Shenzhen, the tech hub of China where Tencent is headquartered, announced on Wednesday night that home buyers can take preferential loans for first-home purchases regardless of their credit record. Shenzhen is the second first-tier city to ease mortgage policies after Guangzhou made a similar decision earlier in the day.
